Richard Wolfstrome MISTD
Richard has been an independent consultant since 1989.
After graduating from the much respected Ravensbourne College of Design & Communication in 1987, he has quickly amassed experience in a wide range of different media. His primary strength lies in determining how information is optimally communicated across different media.
His body of work includes projects for diverse sectors from the public sector, blue chip corporate accounts, film & media industry to the arts, where he has been relentless in his furthering information design by continually challenging the technical and creative disciplines.
From 1996 - 1998 Richard was a director and co-founder of both of the Art of Invention and Fahrenheit 451 where he was responsible for project management, design and creative direction.
From 1999 he set up his own partnership Wolfstrome Design where he now has a respectable and impressive client list. His work varies from consultation and development of corporate identity & brand to the design and production of interactive DVD/CD-Rom.
Richard is a member of the International Society of Typographic Designers.
What is Information Design?
It's the way in which information is designed, laid-out, packaged, aimed and communicated in whatever medium suits it best. Design and production skills used in informing people have had to become so highly evolved due to the wider choice of media that can now be used. As choices become more diverse the presentation has needed to become focused to keep the message clear.
Behind the presentation is the design process, the working out of information systems and project managing to completion.
