Wolfströme Design
Intelligent information graphic design,
wayfinding and typography
Creative director Richard Wolfströme is an award-winning creative, with over 24 years' experience, having graduated from the much respected Ravensbourne College of Design & Communication in 1987.
He's interested in furthering information graphic design and typography by continually challenging the technical and creative disciplines. Primary strength lies in determining how to communicate information optimally across different media – from print to screen to installation.
One of his specialisms (and passions) is in the art of place-making, where he explores and works with communities to engage and bring meaning to place through wayfinding, embedded artworks and typographic narratives – installed in the landscape itself and supported by the use of augmented reality and digital applications.
He's a board director of the International Society of Typographic Designers and a fellow of the RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce). He also sits on the steering committee for the South Coast Design Forum (Brighton).
